MARCH 27 – COVID 19 UPDATE
We know that many people are wondering what will be happening to our event because of COVID-19. It is currently too soon to know what will happen for this event.
At this point in time we have no plans to cancel this event. We will followup with you once we have more information made available to us.
Stay safe, keep your physical distance from others, and please stay fit!
The Heartbeat Run Series
Started as an opportunity to promote heart health and the prevention of heart disease through an active lifestyle, the Heartbeat Run Series has events in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Calgary. Individuals and teams can choose to participate in the 10k Run, 5k Walk/Run and 1k Fun Run. An ideal event for both families who want to enjoy the fall weather and experienced runners looking to wrap up their season with a chip-timed race – the Heartbeat Run has become the last great run of the year.
This may be your year to walk or run! Individuals who've experienced a previous cardiac event are encouraged to participate – there is a distance for everyone.*
Each event serves as a fundraiser – helping to raise awareness and funds to support all aspects of cardiovascular care. We encourage you to share the experience with family, friends and co-workers. Together, we can make every step count!

3 cities and over $100,000 raised (and counting!) for charity CAN'T be wrong!
Use the Heartbeat Run and set it as your goal for the season! Whethere you are wanting to try your first 5km, or are a seasoned athlete, this event will get your heart pumping!
These events bring the community together in a common goal - to promote health, fitness and awareness of one of societies biggest health concerns - heart disease.
Friendly competition, whether walking or running, is a great way to motivate and challenge yourself.
Each Heartbeat Run parters with great local heart-related charities.
